Vic
was vorn into a family of architects. After having tried
her hand in other fields, she has been able to devote
sculpture.
She
completed her formation by studying plastic arts in Orléans
and serving on apprenticeship as a stone carver.
Each of er sculptures was carve directly from the stone
without any preliminary modelling. She has made some bronze
copies of her sculptures.
I
generally express, she told me, my thoughts and feelings
through abstract representation. My inspiration is stricly
personal and y have never allowed myself to be prompted
by historical or artistic reminiscences. My love for animals
urges me, when approaching their representation, to enlance
their characters and attitudes rather than their morphologie.
If
my style succeeds in making them lovabel, i consider i
have reached my aim..
